Black Mould on Walls — How to Remove It and Stop It Coming Back
Mould is a symptom, not the cause. Here's how to remove it safely and treat the moisture source so it doesn't return.
Black or green patches in bathroom corners, behind beds, or along the cold side of an external wall are almost always mould — and almost always caused by trapped moisture meeting a cold surface.
Step 1 — Remove safely
Wear a P2 mask and gloves. Wipe with a 1:10 bleach-to-water solution or a dedicated fungicidal cleaner. Never dry-brush — you'll launch spores into the air.
Step 2 — Find the moisture source
